Went to Santa's village as a child.
Went with my own kids.
Have heard that it has become much more commercialized and expensive in recent years.

No idea. We never took Little M there since we rarely went to the cottage with him. We were showing him the world (or something like that).

My ancestors were Sammi people ... they herded reindeer ... when I say that often some pious person calls me a liar ... I just don't know why ... because I question it too. Why encourage mythical folk?

You can hear them get ten started up as Dunder and Blitzen ... archaic words for thunder and lightening and thus many are confused by the racket when a population of them go by like buffaloed by some type of paranoia ... if you know that word.

The trouble is so many people are fearful of word ... for reason we cannot speak of ... we just don't know because of belief in letting intelligence run ...

One has to get out and about to catch some ...

Sort of like some strange love setting love loose ... bound to be some excess (and loss of thought). Implications of the rapture and apocalyptic consequence ... a sudden knowing? RED knows ...

Papers delivered. Waiting now to meet with the RCMP.
Living in a province where provincial and municipal police are the norm and the RCMP only show up in things like terrorism, organized crime, and counter-espionage, this sounds incredibly serious at first. I know it's just because Alberta contracts the RCMP as their "provincial police" (actually, wasn't Smith talking about starting an APP?) so they do routine stuff that the OPP or local cops would handle here but that's just kind of a gut reaction.

Yes, Dani wants to get rid of the RCMP in AB but for now, that's all we have policing in rural AB.

If Alberta separates, the new government (I kind of doubt it will be her) won't have a choice. I saw some of the numbers from the report on the cost of separation. The separatists are insane. But I bet they'll play the same gambit as the PQ in Quebec. "Oh, we don't have to take on any of the federal debt even if we did help create it." Which is a lie. There's no way the other provinces are going to assume a separating province's share of the debt.

Really, given the crap that is going to rise ... won't it just be better to give up and rest it a bit? Life is really too much trouble and bother when you consider how many refuse to share ... I see this attitude on the streets daily as rants and rages ... people have gone totally, integrally insane ... look it their eyes ... that strange radiance ...

At the same time they have a highly inflated idea of how much of the assets (like the CPP) Alberta would automatically get. The latest plan they put forward is beyond delusional. THey are The LAST place I would look for reasonable understanndigns of how the world works

Especially since a lot of them are in hot water for shady shenanigans in other areas of their lives.
