When I wrecked my old Ford Escort, I remember getting a call from the adjuster while I was out working in the yard. Just happened to have my phone with me, probably I was on-call for work. Kind of weird standing in the yard talking about the claim for my car. They wrote it off and I put the money towards my first Honda Civic.
