Day 1 of the Calgary Stampede...cowboys 6 and bulls 4! :) Animals in the other events made it challenging for some of the cowboys/girls.
 
Anima vs aniMU ... the MU being something alternate to the beast ... referring to John's dreams ... of some kind of slavery?

You touch on something profound, Luce. In John’s visions, the BEAST represents oppressive powers that enslave and dehumanize. When you speak of MU as the beast's alternate, I sense a yearning for freedom, for a way of being that resists captivity and opens toward life

But a freedom with onus ... that once was known as responsibility ... that was laid upon us as a teaching method ... psyche?

Many great wills over the years felt that a thinking beast was evil ... consider the Roman expression" A thinking man is dangerous!"

Lo' slow down and get a grasp ... read deeper into the reiteration ... yet pride rises prior ...

Is there a difference between proud Christianity and humble forms --- Plato! Then the process initiated a complex evolution ... for a purpose we don't yet understand ... how will it work itself out? The answer is not simple and has vast implications ... chaos? That imperative thing ... needing a dark zone ... as the Hebrew lesson presented in black and white ... profound scripts! They are layered and stacked with understanding ... requiring a strange fluidity and flow ... good rheid? Sometimes the presentation shifts right before your eyes as a shrouded form ... like tuth?

Truth is often masked as the saying goes ... the mule is among us ... does what seems right for self extend to all? Root of the golden core ...
 
Restaurant work is a common first job still, I guess. My cousin (who eventually became a lawyer) was a server at a restaurant in Toronto for a while in the 80s.

My first job was a library job and Sis's was a receptionist one. Bonus for Niece is that she only has to walk 1.5 blocks to work.

Likewise. During high school I worked the desk and did shelving in the high school library during the school year, then worked there in the summer for a few weeks helping with inventory and other work that happened between school years. Definitely a big part of why I landed in library school after my undergrad. I even went to my old school librarian's visitation when he passed a few years (though that was also partly because I knew his eldest son, who was a classmate in high school and later a student of my wife in university).

My intention was always to go through library school after my undergrad so that's why I went the library route. :)
 
I noticed more pro-separation lawn signs when I went downtown today...there's even one right next door (not a surprised as I ended up on the receiving end of a nasty pro-separation/racist rant from them last year).
