Good morning lasties. Weather is insane here. We had four yellow and orange warnings going for this area at one point last night. Right now we are down to just a wind warning and a snow squall warning. But it's 2C and showers right now. Groan. Hope it improves by Wednesday since London's big New Year's Eve event is outdoors.
 
Drive in to the office wasn't too bad but it's been squalling since. Not looking forward to the drive home this evening. We've got several lights out in our area of the office. Apparently a brownout while I was off last week killed a bunch of them. And, of course, the electrician we use is short-staffed due to holidays so might not be out until next week. I have one of two ceiling lights working plus I have a window so it's manageable. The guy who leads the development team, on the other hand, will be in darkness when he comes in. Both of his lights are out and his office is interior, i.e. no window. I will encourage him to work from home this week. He's only scheduled in for one day anyhow.
 
Papers all delivered...big excitement was getting stuck in the DEEP snow in the school parking lot in Bashaw (entrance was ploughed but I couldn't see the exit wasn't till I was in the deep snow) - two good Samaritans got me out. :) Now it's time to rest and relax.

One must look into such things to reveal them ... even if unmeasurable. Thus the sense of nothing and infinite ... 2-sided mine field? Expect fireworks when enduring the crossing ... that's virtue and reality w/o the dead man's handle ... a train thing! Therein one might encounter the great gambler ... quanta!

Is it franc ... may explain the Ba Stelle ... expect drippy meltdowns on occasions ...
 
Too sick to have xmas dinner LAST week so I pulled the items out of the freeze to have today (8th day of Christmas) - package of precooked stuffing, frozen cooked turkey slices, and frozen baked potato...after it's all heated up, I'll just need to make gravy and heat up some leftover veggies :)

Christmas dinner at New Year's. I like it. In my family, we were often still eating leftovers at New Year's. Toasted turkey sandwiches while we watched the US parades and games and that sort of thing.

My leftovers should LAST till at least Epiphany this year :)
 
Our family gathered for Christmas yesterday. Chicken, ham, yorkshires, veggies etc. Yummy and a good time together. We hadn't seen most of the grands since the summer so it was good to see them and chat.
