Who needs a time change to make it dark? It's pretty grim outside my office window right now. Dark, rainy. Bleh.

They have largely rolled out here. :giggle: WHich means I now have the freakin' sun in my eyes (my office window faces South and my desk faces the window)

Update to a previous conversation...2 MLA recall petitions approved and they can or are collecting signatures - Mister of Ed and Airdrie MLA (both are squawking that the recalls should be invalid as they are being used incorrectly)...there are 5 more MLA recalls that have been submitted to Elections AB awaiting approval...and there are more - including for Danielle - that still need paperwork submitted. I have heard that the plan is to have every UCP MLA recalled - not just enough for them to lose their majority.

Hmmmmm...the AB Leg communications dept sent a request for my ad rates...wonder what they are cooking up now?

Supposed to be first snow of the season here. Which would be fine if I wasn't in Mississauga and looking at a 2 hour drive home.:cautious:

We got 4 inches of heavy wet snow Friday. I get my snow tires on my car on Monday. 15 years ago when I first got this car, I never put the snow tires on till after Nov 11th and I was never caught with an unexpected snowfall...now the snow seems to arrive in the first week in Nov!

I still haven't heard anything from anyone re the mystery etransfer. Folks at the bank said it must have been sent intentionally - okay, but I still don't know the person or why they sent it!

Ask when the amount clears and can't be clawed back. Then it's yours.

Not a fun drive but I am home. It's melting on contact with asphalt for the most part so the main problem was visibility. On the grass, there's maybe cm or two but it's light and wet so not really accumulating quickly. Doubt we'll hit 4 inches though the weather statement issued a couple days ago said as much as 10cm, which is about 4 in. Too much is melting on contact for us to get there, though, I think.

Nothing like when we used to have to walk to school through feet of snow ... both ways uphill! If you were lucky both feet were in the same direction ... sort of the tyre enigma ... who knows? Not enough in power know ...

They cannot even identify Monet ...

I know, I know, not that kind of Chinook. These ones taste better, though. ;)
