Brother Jae and Kimmio

Was just thinking about both of you as I was doing a crossword puzzle. The clue was "all encompassing" and the answer was "umbrella".

I think Tabitha makes quilts Jae & I am sure they LAST well.

We had a 1000 piece Christmas Angel puzzle this year that was a good one.

2000 piece puzzles challenge the limits of our dining room table. There is one out right now which will get covered over very carefully for Easter dinner. I put the protective pad on the table vinyl side down so the pieces won't stick to the fuzzy side.

The best way to do it is to line the pad up with the tableloth on the floor or a double bed & then place them on the table together.

@Pr. Jae Could you email a sample to thechautauqua@gmail.com? Very cool about teaching cartooning...can you tell me more about your class? Thanks.

This puzzle is currently set up on a puzzle mat on the floor as it is bigger than even our largest table.

Having a quiet afternoon of knitting (prayer shawl) and keeping an eye on the LAST post thread.

Blast
Plaster
Elastic

All words containing L-A-S-T in that order. Anyone think of some more?

Oh my goodness. Isn't that hard on your back?

We did a 5000 piece puzzle once back in the day. The pieces were everywhere!

Nope, back is agile enough for this...I have a few pieces on the coffee table and when I get a few together I transfer them to the puzzle on the floor. Great exercise - getting up and down. :)

This 2,000 piece is the largest I've ever worked on...we have a 4,000 piece one that will be next.

I used to do puzzles on the floor almost all the time. I don't do them as often now, but sometimes they are on the floor, sometimes a table.

I always used to do my puzzles on the floor too, ChemGal, but now it is table, and only very seldom, on the floor.

I found a place on my ipad to do puzzles, and I have been doing those mostly these days instead of the traditional. .. .think I will get my puzzle board out and do one of those.

Puzzles are the second to last resort of the hopelessly lonely - just ahead of following Last Post.
Pr. jae's cartoon idea sounds great. (However, I do not pose in the nude, despite many entreaties.)
