I just bought a couple steaks for tonight. I was going to bake a couple potatoes. I saw twice baked potatoes at the butcher shop and got those instead. We'll have a quiet night on this LAST day of 2024.

I knew it was really close, but figured I missed it when I was out delivering the papers this afternoon (part 1, part 2 will wait till Thurs) so I was pleased to see it waiting for me when I returned home

I confess to almost never looking at post numbers; however, I am LAST.

My nails are bugging me; can't wait until next weekends January nails. In a testament to my good health my nails, fingers in particular, grow really fast. And by week 4 nails that were fashionably long are too long and I'm always hitting a row too high on a keyboard.

So our friends came by with some seafood lasagne for us. Yum. The steaks will be Thursday's supper since we're going out for dinner tomorrow.

Well, we began 2024 at 59,000 and something and ended by passing 64,000. So I'm thinking we might make it to 68,000 or even 69,000 this year. Next milestone, then, is 65000, I guess. Unless someone has other ideas (side-eyes @BethAnne).

65,000 for sure. But, we also have mini milestones that pop up during the year.
