FYI, I will probably change from Christmas to WInter in the header next weekend. So basically leaving the decorations up until Epiphany. The following weekend I take off on a two-week vacation so I don't do it by then, we'll have our Christmas decorations up until almost February.

Decorations should stay up till Epiphany There are enough xmas related holy days in February that they could stay up to the middle of the month

Fireworks happen here for New Years Eve. And Halloween (likely related to Guy Fawkes stuff). And Canada Day. And for whatever reason people can think of. Heaven help those who complain about them. They love fireworks out here.

There was a (pre) New Year's Eve party at the skating rink today that ended in a 15 mins fireworks display at 6 PM. I was able to see almost all of it from the house. I haven't heard that there will be any fireworks on the 31st
