I plan to go to church tomorrow. We're in between ministers. The former minister for this congregation is filling the spot until our new minister starts on February 1.

We are in a similar situation but we don't have the new minister lined up yet. The supply minister has committed to cover until February.

Not sure about church. Keep thinking about starting to go to one but never seem to get there. The UU fellowship isn't exactly turning my crank with their current topics. Not even sure my more "religious" themes would even be welcome anymore. So maybe a UCCan congregation for now. Just need to figure out which one.

Maybe you're splitting the difference between Canadian and American (though I find it hard to believe many people in Korea outside of ex-pats like you and ones with relatives here would even know Canada has its own Thanksgiving).

14:04 Sunday. Found out today - there's no set timing for Thanksgiving at the Korean churches. Each church that wants to participate just picks their own day for doing so

There is a blind believe that time is disposable ... rather prodigal. Reminds me that an elder questioned about WOKE recently I woke this morning to Jimmy Brown (news boy).
