We are in a similar situation but we don't have the new minister lined up yet. The supply minister has committed to cover until February.I plan to go to church tomorrow. We're in between ministers. The former minister for this congregation is filling the spot until our new minister starts on February 1.
Humbly suggest the PCCNot sure about church. Keep thinking about starting to go to one but never seem to get there. The UU fellowship isn't exactly turning my crank with their current topics. Not even sure my more "religious" themes would even be welcome anymore. So maybe a UCCan congregation for now. Just need to figure out which one.
At the very least this explains why this thread has not yet been outlasted.Good thing we don't have over zealous moderators reminding us that the purpose of this thread is being LAST.
14:04 Sunday. Found out today - there's no set timing for Thanksgiving at the Korean churches. Each church that wants to participate just picks their own day for doing soMaybe you're splitting the difference between Canadian and American (though I find it hard to believe many people in Korea outside of ex-pats like you and ones with relatives here would even know Canada has its own Thanksgiving).
What does this mean? Always good to have a question to put oneself in LAST place.
I get it! I was thinking Zero-thIt's the letter after Nth...
Agreed. Thanks is always something to be thankful for.
I can't believe we don't even have the date right
