Ape love music!!!! Ape can't sing, though. Restraining order is still in effect from the infamous events of a couple decades ago. Let's just say screams of horror and thrown fruit got involved.

I didn't think I could sing either, and I have a music album out
True enough. I have been thinking of trying growling. Listening to a lot of death metal right now and thinking maybe that style of singing might work for me. Not in church, though. That might get me some funny looks. :ROFLMAO:

I was just going to say there have been a lot of different singers through the years - even famous ones - who basically mumbled or growled :)

Growling and screaming are basically the normal style for death, black, and doom metal and turn up in other metal sub-genres, too, as well as spinoff genres like metalcore. Even Epica, one of my favourite symphonic metal bands, has a growler on board (who also happens to the band's founder and one of the main songwriters) alongside their classically trained lead singer.

You could go the other way and be a Do-Wop singer ;)

Just dance like no one's watching, and sing like no one's listening.
(They're likely too busy checking their phones to notice.)

I had a friend who went to Catholic schools. One of the nuns told him that God gave him that voice. Sing loud enough for God to hear. :) A Pastor at a church I attended subscribed to the "make a joyful noise" club. We had to remind him to turn off his mike first. :)

Always someone to put the choir buoys down ... thus the enigma of de leg ation ... in other terms a cation ... opposed to anion! Like that man missing a leg ...

Ahab it ula tion! Ditaes?
