You know you're in rural Canada (just about any province) when you see notices like this:

When I was working in a library, one of our branches was the front room of the barber shop in a tiny village (I think someone told me Mom's family lived there at one point in the misty past). Never got my hair done there but it was tempting at times since I had to drop in now and then (it was one of the closer branches to head office).

Also, love how you salt your cards throughout it.

OH MY........................................................................once I finally get all this streaming set up, I sure hope someone listens to my songs...this is a ridiculous amount of work/effort :P

@Kimmio Laughterlove It was fun...offered by Dawn Montefusco from Portland - not super expensive but exchanging to US funds when I paid certainly bumped the cost up...not sure when she's going to offer it again (sounds like only once per year).
