Corn on the cob for supper

Japanese takeout here (bento boxes containing an assortment of goodies plus shrimp and yam tempura). Yes, raw fish was involved. Can't have Japanese without some sushi and sashimi. We had corn on the cob for lunch yesterday (and earlier in the week, too).

These ones I slice in half and bake for a meal with whatever toppings I feel like that day...I'm tool lazy to do anything else

Last after a day that involved a visit to a great winery and visit with friends. I'm still stuffed from the great ribs. Can you guess which winery we visited today?

Yesterday morning and this morning I finally started on the edging in the yard - wider than it should be but it was a mess of weeds and roots and maybe this way it won't grow back in before I can blink. Now I have along the house and to the garage left to do. Just finished up today, and admired a rainbow in the west, and right after I walked into the house it POURED rain
