Man oh man Interior Health needs to learn from Island Health. I have to get bloodwork done today and I've been waiting over an hour for my turn. I'm #33 and they were at 26 when I got here.

Lifelabs here is pretty slick. Usually close to being on time (they are operating on appointment only basis). Just had some bloods done a couple weeks ago.

They don't seem to have LifeLabs in this area. There is another lab I could have used. I chose to use the hospital because they do the work there and the results could get to my doctor quicker.

I was there just over two hours. I am going to drop Island Health a note to say how great their system is. I am also going to provide feedback to Interior Health to share my experience as it compares to Island Health.

For any of you who read the paper via the link I post here, has the link always worked?? I just heard from one of the folks who get the link emailed to them (which is the same link I post here) that it hasn't worked for the past 2 months...everywhere else I've posted it online, it works so not sure why the emailed one doesn't (as it is the EXACT same link)

Technology sometimes rushes on without a sensitive thought ... as machines don't really process with feeling ... just follow protocol .. like some automatons in life! It goes a long way to defining a line between emotional intelligence however ... and few walk it for fear of a whole train of intelligible thoughts ... derailed by things where angels wouldn't tread? Need to get my bike from the shop. Had some work done and they called yesterday to say it was ready for pickup and payment. Tune up and some repairs.
