LAST, as my only claim to a brush with fame is a party that Jim Carrey was at; I was 18 and a cocktail waitress in a comedy club where he was doing impressions, and a bunch of us adjourned to the party room in the motel he was staying.
I assume this was back when he was good? I loved him on In Living Color but kind of lost the plot with his movies. His Riddler in Batman Forever was awful, though Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face was even worse (sad to say, since I normally like Tommy).

OK - I'll jump into Last with my meeting with the late Queen Mum. She spoke to me - but not the other kids around me. Apparently it helps to have some sort of identifying feature that makes you stick out - I was in a leg cast from my foot as far up as it could go.
Too bad about the leg but neat you got to speak to the Queen Mum.

He was only 17; he's a year younger than I, but he was a very good impressionist, with a very good rapport with a crowd. Always "on", though, that I could see. You didn't see much/any of the 'real' Jim, I don't think.
