That's somewhat convenient tooI'm a little far away to help, alas.
I'm starting to feel a bit like the Little Red Hen..."and I'll do it all myself!"Very.
Oh, and did I mention my bone spurs?
Thankfully I have a truck so don't need to worry about put them in the car...did a quick drive-by the pile (which as soon as I saw it, I remembered it as I drove by it all the time up until 7 years ago!) and it looks like the rocks are predominantly bigger than I was thinking of using but that may be better as I'll need less rocksI also am a little far away to help, as well; otherwise, I'd shift a few for you. I have shifted many rocks in and out of cars over the years. My godparent's cabin in the woods is situated very closed to a (formerly) abandoned quarry. Every year, Ron and I would go over there, him in the tractor, me plodding alongside with a trenching spade and we'd fill the tractor trailer with rocks, then shift them into my vehicle. Lots of nice quartz, some lovely dark blue stones, some interesting fossils.
At work we have to wear a mask anytime we leave our desk. So now I hardly move all day which is not good because it gives me a bad knee sitting for hours at my desk. I have tried several different kinds of masks but am hot in some and gagging in others. Maybe I can go to a costume shop and get a Batman cowl...it might be easier to wear than the masks...and as a bonus others would be sure to give me the 2 meters of social distancing!Chautauqua time! https://sites.google.com/site/thechautauqua28/home/July 17, 2020 Chautauqua.pdf?attredirects=0&d=1
papers all delivered...now to rest up

We are required to use supplied masks. The good news, they are actually medical-grade surgical masks since we are in healthcare and stock them for our healthcare team. Though I keep having this weird urge to carry a scalpel and say things like, "Pass the clamp, nurse."![]()
Attempting to make a loaf of raisin bread - followed the recipe exactly (something I rarely do) and I'm not sure it is going to turn out! Fingers crossed
Raisin bread toasted was our Sunday treat for lunch every week...haven't had it in YEARSMy son used to eat that all the time for breakfast during a period in his childhood but I never made it, just bought Sunmaid or PC depending on which store I was at.
Sometimes mask wearing is a skill one must acquire with practice - kind of like riding a bikeAt work we have to wear a mask anytime we leave our desk. That looks a bit disappointing after all your work. Possibly ingredients were too old - but also looks like the dough was perhaps too dry. Is this a yeast bread recipe?Sigh...I think my ingredients might be too old (?)
