On the plus side I had my tires changed over today and it took them less than 15 minutes instead of the 30 minutes they quoted me. :) I've never been in and out that fast before.

Frig. Need to do that. Unfortunately, I loaded up truck with empties the day that the Beer Store stopped accepting recycling. I have, thus far, resisted unloading the whole back so that I can put the summer tires in. Also, we've had snow this week, but probably the last.

Yes, I had to empty the recycling out of my trunk to get the tires in so will have to load it back up after the tires go in the garage.

Had a weird dream the other night that involved feeding mango ice cream to two playful ostriches...anyway, I shared the dream with a friend and she wished that we could find a way to manifest some mango ice cream...told her I could make some easily if I had frozen mango (which I don't) but then I remembered I had dried mango so soaked it and made a batch today :) I don't have an ice cream maker but an old kitchen hints book I came across in the house (from 1969) suggested making in ice cube trays (wrapped in foil) so you don't end up with one massive hard lump, so I did that :) Fingers crossed it works as just went into the freezer...

No Calgary Stampede this year...no chuckwagons :( On the other hand, i mailed my income tax today + my business GST form :)

Pulled out my bike yesterday and had two flats...brother-in-law put air in them but it didn't LAST in one so took to Home Hardware for a repair and when I went to pick it up this morning the other was flat so needs fixed too...I was hoping that I'd be able to start biking this year.

I did the laundry today. Thankfully it was only cloudy with no rain. We have to sit outside the laundry room at the park. I was able to finish weaving in ends for my husband's sweater. It's almost done. I also had a nice chat with a friend.

I made a cake (from a cake mix) in my bread machine and it seems to have worked - though I will need to try again with a lighter setting - I have an old bread machine so have limited setting options and just guessed which to use.

I am non working from home due to being packaged and Rae Tyred ... the business rush didn't need me as a thinker (naturally sloe dJinn along the way ...).

My bike is fixed!!!! :) Unfortunately the wind is gusting strong enough to almost blow me over when I'm standing still so I better not chance a bike ride yet...I did drive a loop around town to figure out the distance and it's 3 kms - which should hopefully be doable for me to start...I also filled an ice cream pail with dandelions from the two flowerbeds by the house - spring is here!

My turn to be in LAST place.

Coffee is available over on the Room for All thread if anyone's interested. It's fresh every 20 minutes, I have been told. c(_)
