Fog bound this morning (it actually started yesterday around rush hour and continued through last night), then showers.

and now it's 40F (approx 5C) and sunny - snow is melting and I have windows and doors open for fresh air

Here, too. Looking lovely today after a foggy, rainy day yesterday. Supposed to stay above zero through the weekend though not by much. Dare I hope it will LAST and that spring is imminent?

There is a rumour we're to get another blast of winter on the weekend...if my cousins still had cattle (they don't) I'd say the calves were dropping and the weather seems to always get nasty when the first calf drops.

Cows jumping can cause various calving and caving ... maybe holes in the night where the Moe'n lodges ... reflective blossoming?

Could mean many things during interpretation ... due to poly Techs and tix ...

Who would think that cute baby cows could be the harbingers of anything bad, weather or otherwise?
One of Mother Nature's quirks? Actually, it is better for the calves if the weather is bad because it makes them stronger and builds their immunity

Spring-like conditions appear to be LAST-ing here, making me happy-ish. Also, prepping for an Indian dinner collaboration tomorrow night, and my paneer co-operated tonight, which made me happier.

Tomorrow is Shopping Day for me as 'my' grocery store gives 10% off on the 1st Tuesday of the month. For our evening meal I baked the LAST of the potatoes. I grated the LAST of the Cheddar cheese. I put the LAST few spoonfuls of the homemade baked beans in a bowl. I cut up the LAST bit of the garlic sausage and added it to the beans and stirred in some pizza sauce (the LAST bit in the container). I chopped the LAST onion and we had a feast of loaded potatoes!
Hopefully this wasn’t your Last supper.
