Well, I have to be at the church tomorrow anyway, weather or not. In the morning to attend Bible Study, then find the big slow cooker and get two pork shoulders cooking. And I'll want to be back in the evening to turn off the cooker and put the meat in the fridge. Besides, I'm waiting for the year that the Rev sets the sanctuary on fire while preparing ashes from last year's palm crosses. Some years it has appeared to be inevitable. Also, it's the one time a year when we gather with the Korean Presbyterians who share space with us, and the two choirs together are very beautiful (they also usually outnumber the small audience). And we have a lovely intinctured communion usually.
