Yup! Cause I don't really want to put new ones up now . . . but not ready to take them down . . . and I will find it frustrating every time I look at them.

As I look out my living room window right now there is the most beautiful sunrise adorning the sky . . . so my lights are paled in comparison at this moment. While it is somewhat blocked by the houses across the street, I can see horizontal lines of pink and bluish gray and white, and a darker bluish gray across the horizon . . . beautiful!

Oh yes, and last night I saw the most beautiful northern lights dancing across the sky!

But there is still lots in the freezer for another day. Along with the carcass for soup when we are ready to make it.

more christmas gifts came today - from my sister in texas. she sent me a bamboo puzzLe - in the form of A Sphere. on the botTom of the box there was a warning -- "may cause cancer."

since when does bamboo cause cancer? that's a new one on me! i'd never heard of such a thing before. is anything safe to use these days? seems Like there's wArning on everything. bamboo iS jusT grass.
