mmm . . . envy is deep within me, Pr. Jae . . . haven't had lunch at mcdnLds for 2 years now :cry:. While my taste buds are still saying - YES, YES, YES . . . my body and mind is saying NO, NO, NO . . . and I will probably never eat at McDonalds again . . . but I still am happy when others can enjoy it as an occasional treat.

mcdnLds is lethAl STuff - but a quick grab when on the go. today it was the mcchckn cmbo.

You can't eat anything from their menu?
 
I could eat fries, or their salads . . . but I prefer to eat "as clean" as I can . . . so I probably wouldn't. But, if I was going with a friend . . . I would probably have a salad.

Actually, my taste buds largely say "no no no" to Mickey D's. Other than their fries, there isn't much on their menu that I like. I'd rather hit Popeye's for chicken, Harvey's or Five Guys for burgers, and Wendy's for salads. And, truth be told, I generally bypass all of them and head for Quesada (made to order Tex-Mex) these days.
 
Usually, it's a drink I'm grabbing at McDonalds, while shopping at Walmart. The last time I had food there it was probably a strawberry sundae.

For a short time I was a sometime customer of Ppys after they opened a franchise in Islington Village. They lost me the night they served me semi-cooked chicken - then gave me poor service when I returned it. I like Hrvys chicken - frings - milkshakes - etc. but to my taste their hamburgers are bad news. They don't taste like all-beef to me. I feel I can taste cereal filler in them. I've never tried Fve Gys - and at Wndys I'd prefer to get a burger or chicken over their salads. My favourite burgers are at the Bg D restaurant in Beresford - New Brunswick.
 
I absolutely cannot imagine eating fast food under any circumstances. None of it tastes like real food to me. It would probably be my LAST meal.
 
After I returned home, I made some hazelnut/almond/pecan/macadamia nut butter - read that it works better if the processor bowl is over half full and that seems to be true...I had butter in less than 5 mins! Kept half as is and put carob in the other half. Yummy!
 
A&W is my preferred fast food choice, or KFC...I haven't been to A&W for a while but had some KFC popcorn chicken, fries and gravy a couple of months ago and was shocked as I didn't have a major reaction.

AndW is good - although a tad pricey. KntckyFrd is so good that after eating it one will be tempted to lick one's fingers.
 
it was our annuaL christmAs banquet tonight. after Supper - gifTs were distributed to one and all ---
