Took mom to the hall so have been out today...snow is falling and I am starting to get a number of releases from the RCMP of accidents and road closures in various parts of AB - there have been at a lot of fatalities in past week.

Luckily, last night the roads were clear. We tend to have bad luck with Christmas parties. We had freezing rain Thursday night and everything was covered in ice when I woke up in the middle of the night. It got fairly warm early yesterday though, so it was all melted before most had to leave for work. Lots of fog driving there, and snow today.
