Well I made it through the day. There was some fallout from yesterday. I was the recipient of a verbal harangue. Thankfully the person yelling decided to go out to get a smoke. He came back an apologized and wanted staff to own their part. Nope. Staff were justified. It was appropriate and normal practice. Later I learned I've had my soul amputated. I'm sure that explains a lot to some.

Now I'm at home with a glass of wine and a sock for a five year old on the needles. Feet are up. At LAST

Hopefully you can get your soul restored.

I worked on my crochet slippers...another wet day in Central AB.

It's part of the job. It's also an adjustment after being footloose and fancy free in July. I wish I could retire. Alas. Another year or two. I can do it.

I celebrated fall with a 10k bike ride. My son came with me the first bit the first biking in 3 years for him so he went back before I did and is a bit sore.

Lovely start to the day. Coffee. Working on finishing some socks for a cute five year old. Putting a fringe on the throw. Hopefully I will be able to deliver the throw to the recipient this weekend.

Another hot one here. 31 with a humidex of 40 is the forecast. Grass cut and shopping done. I was thinking of going to the London International Airshow but not sure I want to be out in the sun that long in this heat (says the guy who hiked in the desert less than a month ago).

The desert was a dry heat which is a totally different beast...hope you manage okay in that heat/humidity.
