No prune juice here. That triggers unpleasant memories of Girl Guide Camp. It was otherwise a good experience.

We have a lot of crows and magpies - neither is my favourite bird.

I actually have a new favorite bird: Stellar's Jay. Quite common in Bryce Canyon National Park. Also saw lots of ravens down there, an old favorite of mine.

Ravens are cool intelligent birds. I've fallen for their tricks a few times and have thought a person was in trouble when it was a raven or two. I like magpies. They're cool and saucy. They wear their tuxedos. You can tell I'm not from the west when I say that. :)

fire in southern AB is just fire that moved up from the State below it. BC is under state of emergency still with all our fires.and poor air quality. It's been over 65 days without rain.

I love magpies; wish they were indigenous to Ontario.

A cup of PC West Coast Dark, made in a drip filter, sitting on the desk next to me. It's bright but chilly this a.m. as I sit in LAST.

The big news this morning in Toronto is that Doug Ford has announced he's running for mayor again in 2018.

:confused::eek:o_O

I think Jae's reaction emojis sum it up nicely. :rolleyes: Have fun, Torontonians. I don't think we have any declared candidates here yet. Matt Brown, the incumbent, will likely run for re-election. Paul Cheng, the local engineer and businessman who came in second last time, is rumoured to be taking another run at it but hasn't said anything officially.
