Yeah, saw that on the news this afternoon. At the other end of the continent, Disney is closing down as Irma approaches. Lots of bodies on the move this weekend between fires up here and storms in the Southeast.

I don't think I have ever seen so many loons in one place. I thought they were solitary birds - except for mothers and their young.

LAST. Cardinals are my favourite bird, I think. Saw one in the backyard today sitting in a lilac bush.

We have a lot of crows and magpies - neither is my favourite bird.

Geese poop and are aggressive. Ever year we have a goose round-up

and take them north. They always come back and multiply.
