There will come a time, sooner rather than later, when you will not know, or care, what day of the week it is. I only know it's Wednesday today, because I'm helping carpool our refugee family's children to their Wednesday swim lesson at the Y.

LAST.
For the most part that has been the way my life has been for the past 5 months of bed-rest...I just had to remember paper deadlines and deliveries. :) Ride will be here at 9:30 and then it's off to Red Deer for my appointment and some shopping.

Two cavities filled today.

I have been blessed with teeth of steel when it comes to cavities. Not a single filling due to decay in my mouth.

OTOH, I have terrible gums and my teeth had had some chips and breaks, one of which required a root canal and cap many years ago (old WC'ers may recall me posting while home with a frozen mouth) and a redo of the root canal recently. And it's bothering me again the past week or two, suggesting that its days in my mouth are numbered.:(

Weak teeth seems to run in my family. A gift from Troll's side of the family, I imagine. He had dentures when he was but 16 years old.

Uh-oh. Hope all will be well with you Mendalla.

I'm a busy man. I have no time or patience to chat about coffee makers. Instead, I have a class to wash - and it really should be done in the next couple of hours.

Oh, speaking of wash. I have a friend who is a bit of a nut about hatching monarch butterfly eggs (I now have one of my own developing). When some of her caterpillars exhibited signs of poisoning, she washed them. LAST.

So just when I thought I had adjusted to being back at work, I showed up for a meeting that wasn't happening. It's Wednesday. We never meet on Wednesday. Oh well........

What a joyous time I had taking the kids swimming! Little Noor remains upset that she can't swim with her bigger sisters. I am super-impressed with the older girls' language skills. Hooreyeh and I argued, amiably, in English, about the fact that she's not allowed up in the front seat with me, because of the air bag.

LAST.

I'm still getting better but am not better :( Yeast is all gone, inflammation almost all gone, still have mould and liver stress...and the fatigue.

LAST, while I wait around for direction on my day. My old guy's Mom is in the hospital, so he will need ferrying over to see her, etc. She is 88 and he has been calling her twice a day almost every day of his 68 years. The trip to Emerg seems to have been triggered by a TIA-like attack, but they've admitted her to the cardiac ICU, so who knows. Poor old thing. Her 87 year old husband is in the worse shape of the two (she still drives, which is a bit frightening, but...), so this house of cards is looking a bit shaky. My old guy doesn't have a car, and hasn't driven in years, so he can't be of much practical assistance. So I suppose much will fall to his sister, and I will try to help out.

And some say life does not have rough edges ...

Possibly not much in life experience?
