I tend to by yer basic name brand coffee for the early morning pot. For the press and the Moka (turns out mine has that inscribed on it, might be a brand name) I grind my own. My chief source of whole beans coffee is Patrick's Beans (available in a few fine retailers) or from Las Chicas del Cafe (can do online). I owe the discoveries of both these companies to my wife, who, scrambling around for Christmas presents, managed to find them both over the years.

LAST as I try to find someone to help me put a shelf together - I seem to be too weak to do it myself. :(

Las Chicas del Cafe

Also sold in Farmboy if you happen to have one in your area. One of the sisters who founded Las Chicas worked for my employer for a year or so in the early noughties. Nice young lady. They started in London but their current roastery is in St. Thomas. A lot of the profit goes back to their home region in Nicaragua.

Little M has drunk Fire-Roasted (local London roastery, not sure if they are available elsewhere), Has-Beans (ditto), and Las Chicas, but is currently drinking Pilot, which is a Toronto roaster sold locally by a cafe called Locomotive Espresso (name comes from their proximity to the trainyard).

You could do much worse for your 'morning' pot than the PC West Coast Dark Roast. For 'treats', I'm quite fond of Kicking Horse coffee, also Muskoka Roastery coffee for a local roastery that is VERY nice. @Northwind sent me some lovely coffee as my secret Santa this year, the name of which escapes me, unfortunately. Also, I have on-line friends who live just outside of New Orleans and we exchanged coffees this year; they sent me two locally roasted pounds of beans.

Keurig is responsible for an environmental plague on the planet. I will say no more...

When it comes to coffee, we absolutely love our Keurig coffee machine. The coffee tastes so good, and there is a large variety of flavors to choose from. We can even make tea, hot chocolate, and other drinks using it. Absolutely wonderful.

Are you saying you love diversity for your self and hate it in other selves as they vary from your tastes?

Kicking horse coffee ... how cruel to the receiver of what ever kick is received ...

Last as I relax and enjoy a mug of Keurig coffee, some Napolitane hazelnut cream wafers, and the feeling of a cool fan on a hot summer's day.

Kicking Horse "Kick Ass" coffee is awesome. I had of course, to try it because of its name. I have liked other Kicking Horse coffee. I suspect, though don't know for sure, that it is named for the pass.

The coffee I sent to @BetteTheRed was North Roast. I don't know which version I had. They have come out with a roast for the store where my husband works. It is very good. North Roast – The Perfect Cup Of Coffee Starts Here!
