Sometimes I read BethAnne using the word "oy". That's yiddish. Is it common in the west? If so, the more forceful term is "Oy vay schmeer"
And if you go to China, you'll need some Chinese to socialize. I find a great conversation opener is the Cantonese "mgoy gwaeelo".
"Excuse me, foreign devil"
Salutations! Greetings from wherever I am to wherever you are.
Ever tried the magic loop method of knitting two socks at a time?It is a rainy morning here in this part of the country. I kind of wish I could just sit in this chair and listen to the gentle rain falling on the trailer roof. We are moving to a new spot today so will have to pack up in a couple of hours. In the meantime I am starting a second sock. At LAST. I knit the first one of this pair last year.

I use the magic loop for other projects and like it better than double-pointed needles...haven't tried socks yet...have a pattern for a cute pair of lacy ankle socks I do want to try at some point.I've tried the magic loop and it frustrates the hell out of me. I may try the two at a time version in the future. I usually finish socks right away. I ran out of yarn for this one so lost my momentum.
This is the sock. Ravelry: KathrynFSJ's Wild Socks
A fight in a restaurant with chairs as weapons? Sounds like a scene from some B-movie Western.
