We just ran in from the rain too. We grabbed things and made it in. Hubby is now going back to the trailer to see if windows need to be closed. We're all inside now and ready to loaf inside. We've been loafing all day actually.

Wear some extra insect repellent when you go outside. The mosquitos will be out in full force and ready for supper.

Sometimes I read BethAnne using the word "oy". That's yiddish. Is it common in the west? If so, the more forceful term is "Oy vay schmeer"

And if you go to China, you'll need some Chinese to socialize. I find a great conversation opener is the Cantonese "mgoy gwaeelo".
"Excuse me, foreign devil"

I am well aware of that. The flies are biting too and I am what they all love to eat.

Gack. I know I get bitten (I've caught the little buggers in the act) but I don't have a reaction so if I don't see it happen, I don't know that it's happened. Family, OTOH, gets welts the size of pennies.

My welts get to the size of twoonies

No Jewish in my family so don't know where it originally started but all the women on mom's side toss out an "Oy" when the situation warrants.

Whatever is biting me here is giving me welts. It looks like I have hives. We're using tea tree oil and after bite quite a bit.
