Hell of a storm system came through here this evening. Two bouts of thunder and lightning with very heavy rain in the second. I hear the GTA is getting hammered, too.
 
Wow it's not even 9:00 yet and I want to go to bed. I guess I'm not on Alberta time anymore. We had thunderstorms in the night so I was awake for awhile. We also did a lot of walking and spent time at the beach. Not sure how much longer I will LAST ........
 
Stormy evening here. Lots of flashes and booms.
Speaking of flashes and booms, the local fireworks display (rained out on June 30) has been rescheduled for August 6.

I did that when I was 14-15 for a couple years. When somebody pukes on a ride, they hose out the car and leave it empty for the next run. Everybody nearby, like ticket takers, get a little wet. It's going to be really hot down there this week. We are going down tomorrow to see my nephew perform on the Coke Stage.

Hot and dry here today. Went to a Luau at the lake. Luckily it actually cooled off a bit and a breeze helped. It's still in the mid 20s though.
 
Happy Saturday indeed. It is a chilly morning at Pancake Bay. The dog and I enjoyed a nice walk along Lake Superior this morning. It was a great way to start the day. If only these times would LAST.

It's a lovely spot and I highly recommend a visit. Not so flat. The dog who usually loves water is not so thrilled with this great lake.
 
Can't remember if I told you fine folk but mom was being reassessed by Home Care higher ups LAST week (or week before?) because they feel that mom is being VERY UNREASONABLE to expect the gals to be in our house longer than 5 mins (except on bath days which THEY determined should be only 2x per week and they'd like to eliminate those too).

Excuse me??!?!? Remind me again what the point of "Home Care" is?????
