For those who are interested, the redo of the second sock is working out well. He will have two socks approximately the same length. I suppose that's a good thing since his feet are approximately the same length. :D

Have never knit a sock in my life. I am a dishcloth and scarf kind of gal when it comes to knitting. Although I have ventured into prayer shawls on occasion.

Socks are highly addicting. I like them for mindless knitting. I use double pointed needles usually. I just bought a 9" circular and am trying that out. It's quite cool. People try to say heels are hard they're not.

It's an ongoing process. I don't know how to darn socks. I know how to fix mistakes I've made. In other words, I know how to backpeddle. After I posted that the second sock was good, I messed up. One needle came out of the stitches. I've set it aside. That's a morning, fresh brain task. f***.

Discovered I may have to redo one of my slippers - even though I do a row or two at a time on both so they will end up the same, they aren't the same! :(

The socks are done. I told him he better wear them and love them. The smartass said he could see a difference between the two. Jerk. I posted a photo on FB as evidence. I'm just glad they're done at last!
