Visited a big old downtown church today. A good sermon and wonderful music from the Choir, Pipe Organ, Grand Piano and Mandolin. Not sure when I last worshiped there, but it was fun rather like going home. When I worked downtown I used to go there on my lunch break when I was having a bad day, the sanctuary was open weekdays and just sitting and being was a welcome relief.![]()
Is everyone watching the big day? I'm rooting for the New England Patriots. I don't want them to come last.
Well, strictly speaking, they wouldn't have been (they would have been second in the league), but that discussion is moot now. They scored what had to be one of the most dramatic wins in Super Bowl history. But will that success LAST into next season?
b' last as the induction, or implosion device? succubus ...
Good question Mendalla, to which I have no real answer. I know virtually nothing about football. I was chiefly rooting for New England cuz it's closer to New Brunswick (my birthplace) than Atlanta is. From all I hear, the end of the game was a bLAST.
For now cam NT contact with no mplosion device, that most probably would be their LAST. Good call there Luce NDs the them f blast.
I paid almost no attention, though Little M got interested in the fourth quarter when NE started coming back. Even the famous ads are usually up on Youtube by game time so I don't even care to watch for those now that we can see them in Canada.
That said, in the back of my mind, I was rooting for the Falcons because I have a friend on another board who lives in Atlanta and is a huge football fan, following both the Falcons in NFL and the University of Georgia Bulldogs (his alma mater) in NCAA.
...those are squirrels, Graeme; adjust your spectacles...
