Woot! Heading out of the darkness tunnel. THAT is worth celebrating. As is being LAST.

Those sublime tunnels ... have due respect before dunking there ... sort of like communion with the rip and dip syndrome! If you get right into it ... you could be Nous 'd ... and the mountees get their man ... all about horse flesh ... some of it ironic like that night train to New Orleans? Jain in the austenitic form ... stainless? Nothing sticks ... a heartless sol ...

attended niece's school Christmas concert...kids did a great job...band teacher has the bands playing the same songs she had my class play 26 years ago.

They played it well...but you'd think in 26 yrs she'd have added some variety.

a friend just retired from band-she is still teaching other subjects-she had gotten tired of the music. She looked for some new stuff but really what she had been using was just the right level-so she let someone else teach it!

I realize there are some tunes that are just right for learning - yet, not every school band plays exactly the same songs so variety is available.

Good morning, all. It has been winter for about 1 hour 45 minutes. Happy solstice.

And the days start getting longer tomorrow and in just 3 short months it will be back to Daylight Savings Time and the sun will be shining well into the evening. I knew these short days couldn't last.
