Actually, if you go to a user's profile, it shows what they are currently doing unless they have blocked that function.

For instance, as I write this it show that Graeme was viewing the Trump thread in Politics about 4 minutes ago. Any user can do this. It's not a mod or admin thing. If you don't like to have this visible, turn off "Show your online status" in your Privacy settings.

good morning. I was up at 4 am to take my swiss hockey billet to the airport for a 6 am flight. Bit of panic last night when he realized he had not picked up his passport from the hockey school office.
