Only 1 niece, no nephews.

@Tabitha...I get debt collection phone calls for a John - never met the man but do know he exists as his number is the same as mine only different area code...he used to phone me - instead of his number - at all hours of the night when he was off working - checking to see if his significant other had come home from the bar yet...and I'd get calls from her mother in ON to see if she was home from the bar yet...they'd get so ticked when I told them they had the wrong number and to use the correct area code, yet they never apologized for waking me up through the night.

Big adventure with the niece today was visiting the local antique shop - were there almost an hour and could have stayed longer as we didn't see everything - it's doubled (tripled?) in size since we last looked through it...spent a lot of money. We also finished sorting the jars and such in the basement...sale was good today.

Just finished shooting basketballs with the 3 neighbour kids-grade 4 to grade one. and their fit parents. Five balls for 6 of us-and a low net. Lots of fun all around.

Whatever happened to us voting on the crate for the new Sounsil? Has that Ben checked until after we finish voting on the documents? Inspiring minds want to snow. Last.

Yes. I think it is distracting to have multiple votes going on at once. That's why we did the original votes back in 2014 one at a time, too. Since that vote closes tonight, I'll post the results and start the vote on the new Council slate on the weekend.

Went up to Banff today, saw lots of elk, mountain goats and people. A popular spot, but still nice to get out of the city at last.

Saw an article today saying Lake Louise was so crowded on the long weekend they were pretty much turning people away. When I was there many years ago, I preferred Moraine Lake and the hike to the Lake Agnes teahouse myself. Will be visiting Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado in August, basically their counterpart to Banff.

Hope you have a fun time in Colorado. The mountains do restore ones soul even if they are crowded in summer. Heard they were going to start a bus service in Lake Louise to get folks up to the lake from the highway.
