FIRST to wish this annual crap was over at LAST...every year, I spin around just hoping I'll manage to do enough to be sorta presentable...no baking, no cards, no gifts, but my sad little tree (which my daughter and I have concluded might be its LAST Christmas, after 21 years of shedding plastic needles on us) is up and quasi-decorated.

Has anyone ever given, or received, a Chia Pet as a gift? If so, how was it received?

I'm slow to respond to this but yes. I got one for my sister when she was in high school I think. She was happy to get it, but it didn't work well. I think she got something to grow the 2nd time.
