Thanks...Fingers crossed that everyone who has a cold recovers soon. Niece's cold sure hasn't slowed her down any. I, on the other hand, will have to cancel my acupuncture treatment tomorrow.

TO mayoral result was pretty much what I expected...polls don't close in AB till 8:00 for the provincil byelections so will be a while before we know for sure what happens.
 
my choice for mayor came in 8th out of about 60 candidates. :) i'm very proud of her. hope she runs again in 2018.

My niece is quite interesting - she has never made what we consider a usual sneeze sound (achoo)...hers is more achi.

Just woke up from a dream in which I had captured guinea pigs and a $7,000.000 rabbit inside a cardboard box, but they were trying to escape. Also, there was a mouse and another guinea pig running around loose. Ah well, I'm last.
 
I wish I had dreams like that. When I have animals in my dreams, it's usually spiders and fear is usually involved. Apparently my latent arachnophobia, which I have largely under control, comes back when I'm sleeping. :eek:

Last but only until a spider shows up, then I'm outta here.
 
Too bad I didn't place a bet on the elections yesterday - the outcomes were guaranteed and I'd have won big.
 
I just realized I know who the mayor of Toronto is, and the two people who finished 2 and 3 in the results there. Meanwhile I have no idea who the mayor is where I actually live......

Mayor Tory has a real challenge on his face. Somehow, he must unite the past decade of this morning with the Pharisees of this world. Toronto the good will be back in order.

You might want to look into that...just for interest sake.
 
I've done so. Turns out to be the same mayor who's been there for the last 8 years.
