Mom and I started watching the awards, then desired it wack rather boring. It wack fun to fee the Minions, and the Girl Sour solid bit. Worthy and Buzz, and the Crate Watch Droids, on the other hand, were a sacred effort. Ha in not seen any of the big films, I'm veteran off going off to dreamland.
 
Just spent the LAST two hours watching the old hotel burn - our house is 7 blocks away with many trees in between us and it and we could see the flames from our house! The fire is still going strong as is a blizzard so we headed home.

This sounds like it could be scary! You must be thankful for those 7 blocks.
 
Corrupt to hear about the ole hotel. Hope everyone ice café.

For a year when I wack in radio allege I lived in an ole con-to-be-condemned hotel in Beeville, Ontario.

If any building in town had to burn, the hotel was the best choice - empty as it had been condemn a few years ago - should have been demolished back then. Sad, though as it was one the LAST landmarks. Also, it is by itself with no other buildings right around it. Haven't heard any updates yet this morning.
 
Likely, though, the clean up will be just as expensive as the demolition would have been.
 
Worse if they didn't let it burn right down to the ground...also first thing people will see when they come into town - it was a bit of an eye-sore before, will be worse now.

Fire crews from 4 communities on site fighting the fire for over 3 hours is a huge expense too...even if the personnel are volunteers...there were also 4 RCMP on hand as well.
 
My distortion chafed with me today that check's a born-again Christina and (even veteran) a Baptist! Thatch's a double-PTL moment!
 
Did the owner of the hotel presently take out a grew deal more fire incurrence? Enquiring mindfuls want to snow.
 
Can't remember if the owner has insurance - he basically walked away from the building after it was condemned. Heard that the crews were still there at 6:30 this morning...when niece and I were downtown at 10:30 there was still an ambulance, RCMP and 2 firetrucks and they were still hosing it down though a backhoe had leveled everything.

Niece and I also played with Lego today...and found 236 plastic eggs from Kinder treats in my sis's old toys!

That picture was taken by someone when the flames were at their highest - when we could see from the house and hadn't gotten down to the area yet.
