Looking through the forum posts and losing my mind ... losing my religion so to speak ... even losing my words.
Now instead of humming ... 'time to get a gun' I am humming ... 'my daddy stopped talking the day the farm was auctioned - there was nothing left to say' ...

So I am starting to Listen

I listen to this prophet a lot ...
We are not alone.... The prophetic spirit is loose in the land and all who profit by exploitation and oppression are called to choose; there is no safe middle ground, no having our cake and eating it too... geofee

I listen to Chris Hedges on HOPE and think I will join an Occupy Movement somewhere ...

Busy day today - niece and I picked cherries off our tree (ate some), baked a couple sweet potatoes, picked 5 large spaghetti squash from the garden (gave 2 to neighbour and cooked one), made a batch of potato chips for her (she inhaled them all!), cooked some bison burgers, quick trip downtown in the rain, tossed an old suitcse that was broken, cleaned in my room, chatted with the RCMP at the door and out in the rain - 911 hangup call from pther neighbour's they were checking out and I told them she's away, listened to some records on our old Edison gramophone, and she pretended my yoga mats were slides and "slid" down them for over half an hour! Time to rest at LAST.
 
Somehow it all made sense now. The world - the church - the time. Phil looked at Madeline and then he said - "You need me - don't have a problem."

The one who actually came to the door was young and cute - looked about 14 yrs old, great smile, he's the one who took my vital info (birth date, etc), I think he's single...he apparently also have my niece a "good" ticket LAST month for looking both ways before crossing the street. Other one I've known for a while and have met his wife and kids.

Paper is almost wrapped up and ready to go in. Comtemplating some layout changes for the next issue.
