Northwind and BethAnne - quiet Christmases can also be perfect .

Yesterday hubby and I watched our youngest grand performing in the school Christmas entertainment for parents and others. So many happy, smiling faces! The school lacks a stage so the kids stood on bleachers and sang for us. Strangely (or so I thought) they also lack a teacher who can play piano, so they used taped music for them to sing with.

Christmases around here are always quiet but this year may be even quieter. Niece's concert is tomorrow - even though they have teachers who can play the piano (and older students), they use taped music.

Hmm. Most of the school concerts I attended in Little M's school days were a capella, piano, or guitar. Too bad they are going that route. Choir! Choir! Choir! does some excellent work with only a guitar for accompaniment most of the time, surely a school could manage that much.

We were always piano or a capella when we were in school.

Just dropping this in here for additional visibility (and since I know BA rarely ventures out of Last Post). It starts with a major breach but I also posted some security advice afterwards.

I do venture occasionally but hadn't seen this...thank,s

Considering what is going on out there in the rel world ... is naivete, ignorance and stupidity the grandest goal for humanity so we wouldn't know and thus be responsible for something? Can blindness of mind thus creep into reality ... is it something like the Furies of old as aulde out?

Isn't mental blindness wonderful for a rest ... thus Aga Pei in space ... Holy Cows and swirls ...

As I listen to the people following authoritarian tyranny without seeming to be comprehensive to what action is going on out there ... I find that perhaps it is true the rational and logical sol doesn't exist.

Thus non-existential philosophy ... and NDE to reality ... kinda knOBI ... as a bump in the log as recorded! So many words to string together in the blind chord!

After today I will be halfway through my radiation treatments. Today is #8 of 16. So far it hasn't been too bad. I've got some light pinkness. I bought some calendula oil last night and that seemed to help.

It will be nice to see the LAST of this and to move forward.
Hugs

Niece's Christmas concert was good - only gr 1 and niece's gr 4 class were a cappella...even the beginner bands and new guitar band used taped music so it was hard to hear the instruments...niece's class was very LAST on the program and some parents left early so I was able to sit in the front to video her and so she could see I was there :)

I bet it was disappointing for the kids to have the audience walk out. I call it RUDE. So nice you were able to video your niece's performance though.

They left after their kids went back to the classroom, so really it was only the adults in the audience that would notice who was there for the whole thing and who left...but, yes, it is rude.

LAST as I have spent almost 2 hours looking for a picture I know I posted somewhere on FB and FB isn't making it easy to find
