Have you considered a barefoot sermon? It could be accented with graceful foot movements, wiggling of toes, etc.
Indeed - a splendid idea if not for the necessity of sermons to be rhetorical. Still - I would welcome the sight of bare feet in church. Why - footwashing used to be an ordinance for the wild Baptists.

There are wild Baptists?? I thought they were all domesticated.

Sadly - there are no wild Baptists anymore. I use that term to speak of the early Baptists - those who were willing to share the gospel no matter what the cost. As a result of their Baptist views - many were persecuted - and even killed - by protestants.

there is a hidden curse in Christianity. The promise of salvation can create a self serving obsession that negates most of the teaching of Jesus.
Sorry to get serious. I won't do it again.

I was often barefoot in church - even when (or especailly when) leading the service.

Feet were bare in my winter boots today as I delivered papers in a blizzard - still snowing and more expected tomorrow...hopefully the worst will hold off till after I return home from tomorrow's deliveries.

LAST is definitely, definitely retroactive - especially to Graeme.

But, for a brief time of joy, I will be LAST.

Had to fight for my right to eat lunch today. The supervisor wasn't going to give me one! After that battle royale - I can certainly take on being last.

Look. I'm sorry. I really am. But there's nothing I can do about it. Retroactive is retroactive. I care not for glory for myself. I simply accept it graciously as a welcome visitor. Some day, perhaps, others among you, the little people, may have a moment of glory. I shall applaud with you. But until then......
