Your employer coerces you to cook French Toast? Something's wrong with that scenario.
 
Good morning from the snowy north. Well, not too snowy I hope.

And so it starts.

I hope it doesn't LAST long yet.
 
I came up with a better idea for my editorial so will write it today...we're still far enough south that there is no snow - yet.
 
More phone calls and emails...I'm not sure the community will survive till the municipal election on the 16th.

I'm waiting for two columns and an ad so I can finish the paper.

In Alix 10 people are vying for 5 council positions...and this same community is currently under review from Municipal Affairs to see if anything illegal has been done (there hasn't just poor decisions made) and if they are viable enough to retain their village status...no matter what the election results are there is automatically going to be 5 disappointed people - depending on which get on and which don't, could determine how ugly the situation gets going forward.
 
It seems like it's been such a long day...didn't do much but what I did do took a long time as many interruptions.

Nope...hard all the way.

I am just waiting for one column from Hawaii and then the paper will be done - unless there is a LAST-minute submission.
