It is traditionally the father's role. Thus it is surprising when a mother does it. Much less also decides to instruct her son's friends. The latter seems to me like a very strange decision.
Kids learn about sex from a variety of sources nowadays (and permission is not given or asked)...far better to learn from someone who knows.

It promises to clear after a night that had tai. And thunderstorms. We've been in this trailer for a month and this is only the second time with t-storms. Dog doesn't know how lucky he is. :) We've decided to stay here tonight and get up early to head home tomorrow. Yes there are things that need to be done there. They will wait and we end out holiday with a day of sloth. If husband is lucky, he'll find a golf game. I'm going to sit and work on a sweater. At least until it gets too hot to do so that is.

I got to visit Pam's Woolly Shoppe in Stony Plain yesterday. I got some sock yarn for Christmas presents and a skein of a special Canada 150 Fleece Artist for me. I bought the colourway that represented Nunavut which as a nice icy, powder blue. When I went to put it away I was reminded that I had already bought a similar colourway I'm Manos Del Uruguay in Ontario.......... the two yarns are quite different. Maybe one will end up as a gift.

I've had my sweater on my lap while i play with this thing. I think I'll make coffee and wash the dishes I put in the sink to soak. I'm enjoying "Dead Ends and Detours" on CKUA and the fresh breezes coming in the window.

One job I tackled was to fix the screen door as it wasn't closing properly - got that done and decided I might as well deal with the horrendous squeaking sound it makes too - put some WD-40 on it and the squeak is LOUDER!

We decided to spend a lazy day here at the campground before heading home tomorrow. Oh sure it would have been smart to have gone home today so we could do the unpacking and such tomorrow. The chill day is smarter. This campground is new and has no trees. There's a dog park attached and great showers and facilities. It's very quiet and peaceful. We've had a nice day that included loafing, some small housekeeping things and a walk. It's been nice. On the road early tomorrow so we can get the trailer unpacked and the laundry started.

It is scorching here. there was a wedding in the gazebo - cowboy style. Stetsons and cowboy

boots. very tastefully done. Riders play at 4;30. not here. on TSN.

@Northwind, I find it hard to believe you are on the last stretch to home. went fast, did you think?

I agree. It went fast. It also feels like we've been away forever. I think that's a good balance. We got some R&R in, some visiting and more R&R. I feel like I've had a break. I do wish we could live this way for longer. I'm very thankful the weather is cooler here. It's about 24 just perfect.

Stay cool CH
