I wasn't actually planning to go to the zoo and we don't have one in this area, but not a bad idea. I think I'll just enjoy the day here in LAST!

I don't have to go very far to be in zoo territory. 2 plus one cats here (my two, plus the boarder's cat), plus the dog, plus daughter is dog-sitting this weekend, so there's two big collies hanging around as well...LAST at the 'zoo'...

And if I was in the UK, Edinburgh is, or at least used to be, the zoo to see over there. You've got a nice one there in Toronto. It's just a bit far for a casual, last minute jaunt. Plus my family aren't as into animals as I am.

Sorry, my bad. Well, how 'bout this one then - Greenview Aviaries Park & Zoo | Zoo & Park located in Ridgetown/Morpeth, Ontario

Not in London, ON, but reasonably close.

The Toronto zoo is one place Yobo and I have never gotten to together. We always meant to back when we were dating, but never actually made it. We did visit Riverdale Farm, Riverdale Farm - Featured Parks - Parks & Trails | City of Toronto which used to be Toronto's Riverdale Zoo.
