Thank you everyone fro stopping by, This thread is open - the fire never dies and there is, as the original WC said -room for everyone a place at the hearth. I wish everyone kindness and good will This is my last post; if this thread continues, it is with spirit and kindness. and not with my guidance.

Enjoying a relaxing shopping trip to Yorkdale Mall with my daughter, looking for something for her mother. Hundreds of thousands of well wishers are here with us, celebrating the season by shoving us out of the way and trying to run us over in the parking lot. It's a traditional Christmas scene.

Wondering why Redhead left us so quickly here on WC2. She was one of our most active posters back in the WC days.

When i was three and yorkdale opened my parents lost me there I was watching tv in the appliance center

Since then yorkdale has become a very upscale place. I went. Wasnt overly impressed but for me , i really have to be in the mood to shop. Otherwise i just wander

my best Yorkdale memory is catching the bus to summer camp in the Yorkdale parking lot! I'm not a fan of mall shopping ... hope chansen survived his excursion!

I remember when Yorkdale opened, it was fun to go to as a little kid. Don't know if I'd visit if I'm Toronto again though. With no Simpsons or Eaton's it wouldn't seem the same. I do remember Mom and Dad taking us to a nice pancake restaurant in Yorkdale, so might be worth checking to see if it's still there.
