I would suggest that those who would be happy to see DJT issue a pardon to himself should not be freaked out that President Biden would pardon his son. At least President Biden is not pardoning himself.

Pardon Meis??? And folk wonder when Sar Don originated ... is that not ironic as the edge of eternal concerns? May appear as an 'aule in nothing event ... still sordid ... and beyond essence which is near nothing ... maybe a spec in it as ... ʘ ...

Looking over your shoulder would they simulate a conscience? Dame ... that' Sur ...

Did you know "sar" was once head a power and "Don" was a hole when profound power dipped? It's all in the word but few wish to grasp the understanding ... they'd prefer conflict ... thus men go down (where is said to be ineffable)! May resemble a grunt ... those chaps that dig ... in essence?

There wasn't much to start an initiation ...

If you were a father, and you had the power to, would you not pardon your son?

Then if you were the patriarch ... could you Parden all the syncretic matter you done ... it might be your only way clear unless you could clear up everything a head for another run at whatever you were doing ... then symbiosis rises as a query! There are other words for it for protection of ... well, you know even if you 4 got in a prescient move to dump that knowledge ... that's the unconscious psyche ... disturbing the variable norm!

But Hunter's pardon will stop the whining of Dems about Trump's pardons, past and future.
Political interference scuppered a planned deal that would have seen a consequence proportional to similar crimes.

Trump pardoned Steve Bannon, who defrauded Trump supporters who thought they were donating to the border wall in place of Mexico, who never returned his fundraising emails. He defrauded Trump's own base, and that's apparently OK with everyone. "Yes sir, may we please have some more fraud?"

Trump issued a blanket pardon to Michael Flynn for anything he might have done. It was a wild, "doesn't matter what he did, you can't prosecute him" pardon. Pardons are usually specific. Flynn's made you wonder what else he could have done, other than lying to the FBI about negotiating with Russia over lifting the sanctions put in place over election interference and lying to the FBI about it.

Trump pardoned his daughter's father-in-law (Charles Kushner) for illegal campaign contributions, tax evasion and witness tampering when he hired a prostitute to seduce his brother-in-law and tape it, so that tape could go to his sister. Charles Kushner is due to be the ambassador to France, of course.

Trump pardoned Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who bragged about running "concentration camps", and had been convicted of racial profiling.

Hunter's pardon is false equivalence. It will be cited, but improperly, by Trump. That's the main problem with it, is optics. Optics not being something that applies to Trump at all.

What of Biden’s insistence pre-pardon that he has total confidence in the US legal system to do the right thing?

This pardon proves that, in fact, there is one set of laws for the elites and another for everyone else.

Biden trusts the legal system except that it doesn’t apply to important people like his son.

The breadth of the pardon (going beyond lying to get a gun and tax evasion) is to protect President Biden.

(SCOTUS ruled last year that Presidents do not have immunity for criminal acts unrelated to their official duties.)

Accordingly, President Biden would be guilty of a crime if evidence exists to prove he was involved in Hunter’s shakedowns of foreign adversaries (Ukraine, Russia, China) to make money for himself and his father.

This broad pardon will be the basis on which the democrats will try to block all further investigation of wrongdoing.

They will ignore and/or resist any further subpoenas, testimony, etc.

Biden’s handlers were crafty to draft an explanation suggesting that Hunter was a victim of “lawfare.”

Trump did not weaponize the DOJ to go after Hunter. He had no authority to do that.

The legal system had no choice but to charge Hunter based upon evidence from his own laptop.

Hunter admitted guilt and was adjudged to be guilty. He was not singled out.

Even Democrats object to Biden's pardon of Hunter for his crimes, especially because Biden had previously promosed not to do so:

Focusing on Hunter doesn't make the MAGA crowd look any better. I've seen both sides of the whether to pardon Hunter argument.

It's best Biden does it now, and take the fall out, then wait until it's too late.
He's lost a wife and daughter already .....he's getting older by the day......I think the father in him took over and wants everyone safe after he's gone.
Going back on this promise, sure not the best,he shouldn't have made it, but he's been a good president overall IMO.....he's failing healthwise, probably wants to just know the kids will be okay.

Another powerful legacy of Trump's decisive election victory is the devastating lowering of viewer ratings by 50% for progressive cable news networks CNN and MSNBC:

Hardly a landslide win. He only got something like 49% of the vote. More stayed home than voted for him. As for the viewers, it's a normal post-election slump. Only time will tell if it's real.
