I might still die before most of us here
In an excruciating way

God is Good

No maybe or because

A brute fact

And all of reality, all beliefs, no matter what, going back far enough, eventually goes back to brute facts

Big bang? Before then? Brute fact

Good and evil exist, they are the goal posts, but we are human and limited and quite varied, so the goal posts can seem to move or seem farther or closer together

Within this framework, reality is a community of people, not all of whom are human. Bear people have bear energy and bear needs and wants. Same with Beaver. Raven. And so forth

Same with those we would call other Deities. People. Powers. Spirits

We all will die

That time will come

So what are we going to do when we are alive?

Where we are born seems to be due to chance. Same thing with our parents. And so on

Not everywhere on Earth is the same. Different areas have different resources, cultures, peoples and so forth

So God is Good. The ultimate against which we can compare other things. And the goal that we can asymptotically look up to. The goal that helps with purpose and meaning

I know it can be difficult to maintain. In these crazy times. I have lost my mom to cancer. One of my best friends to a senseless car crash. My Oma to cancer. My other Oma to old age. My dearest to cancer. Her beloved cat died with me. One of my roomies.

And still God is good.

Trust in God.

Feed the poor
Clothe the naked
Heal the sick

And be obedient to God

That is all it takes to be a Christian

Distilled down to its fundaments

And always, no matter what, return with Love

Remember we are here having a human experience

Existence is a gift

Life is good

Ignore the idiot box trying to tell you what to think and what to feel

Be who you are

Do what you do

We are here for such a short time

Amen

To Caesar the Christians were nothing ... and what can you do with nothing if there is nothing to bang it against (in eruptive theory) thus the two collapse in two opposed parts like the charging of a neuron paralleling the divine nature of neutered Rons ... that der*eon top of what appears as naught ... a long way to go with the window of the soul all shut up ...

You cannot put your foot innut unless there is a hollow ... mine hollow is a good place to put what others believed a dark abstract ... or so it was rite ... can a powerful POTUS accomplish a lot without restrictions? These are the laws to be broke ... thus they suffer folly because of excessive desires and wishes for things unneeded!

There was required a melting pot ... that' Sus ... and you see it every daze ... just look into the aliens Ayres ... and sock it to*em ...

Looks like a retelling of Ecclesiastes. Derp wisdom.

God is good and bad and once the two are combined there is nothing ... and its nothing to have to start all over again ... like it is easterly in the west?

Some say the westerlies are occidental ... what's occi? Imagine the Ci Petal ... some oui that it ... Ci! Oui is like an aye man ... yest Sear that' sit ... well put down ... and few grasp ... for the down and ugly were suppressed, oppressed or whatever the eL is dark ... gamma Raised? Maybe a BMR ... all is chaos ... if that isn't enough ... what is ... what an experience!

Tell me again about the deux machina ... diabolical skits causing a gap eh! After a few words of opposing propaganda they went their way ... a bit off from the moderates who were despised for their unseen medium ... did you see it go? No! Don't tell me its out there ...

I so love being unchurched
So much of this I am experiencing for the first time woo hoo!

What do you mean by "say this responsively"?
Speaker (could be the minister but not necessarily) at the front says something, congregation says something else that responds to what the speaker said (or repeats what they said).

Rinse and repeat for several stanzas in some cases.

Kind of like a "call and response" song but spoken.

Leader says, God is good.
Response is , all the time.
Leader says. All the time.
Response: God is good.

God is Good
God is good.

Everything else might fall well or slightly short of good. God is, nonetheless, still good.

Reminds me of one of my favourite parts of the Book of Daniel has Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego on the hearth stones of a blazing furnace. They will be forced inside if they do not bow the knee to the King. Their response? "God can save us and even if God does not God alone is God and there is no other." They are prepared to die, they seem to have accepted that a tyrant happy to make a rule that brings a death penalty for a failure to bow can do as they please. And yet God is still God not some dictator. It also reminds me of an Apostle begging and pleading with God for relief only to be reminded that the grace of God is enough for him. The thorn may remain even as God's grace flows.

The Bible was never intended for a garden path faith. Unless the garden is Gethsemene which may have been a refreshing place on paper. Whenever it is mentioned in the narrative there seems to be a lot of anguish and lamentation going on.

God is good.

Everything else might suck at being good. God continues to manage goodness even when we struggle.

God is good as nothing is ... and thus thin space where there is availability ... for nothing to go on ... it 's fate as some do have faith that the abyss will rise ...

Imagine falling into that in great folly ... ber geres? Maybe false burgh ores ... OSH on we go ... awes 'n'd?
