This is the dark history of the church he never founded.----
Since the beginning of the gospel, in the solemn words of John 1:1-14, we are confronted with a deep and eternal mystery. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God, and the word became flesh and dwelt among us. These words not only introduce us to the divinity of Christ, but reveal something even more sublime.
He did not come to the world to create a new religion but to manifest the very life of God among men. And here begins the crucial distinction.
True Christianity did not arise from councils, temples or human traditionsbut from the very incarnate God. if Jesus did not establish an institutional religion, what exactly did he come to build?
The answer lies in Acts in the origins of the early church. It was not a system. It was a living body. In Acts two, we see a community that gathered daily, united by the apostles doctrine, by prayer, by sharing, and by the supernatural movement of the spirit.
There were no Catholic dogmas, no temples filled with images or Roman liturgical rituals. It was a vibrant stripped down faith solely centered on Christ. It was the opposite of what the world today knows as church.
The first time the followers of Jesus were called Christians is recorded in Acts 11:26. And it was not an honorable title. It was a derogatory nickname given by outsiders as if they were
trying to label something they could not control. And what if I told you that the name Christian was first used to discredit and ridicule? This already reveals a pattern. The world has always tried to domesticate genuine faith with human definitions. The name stuck, yes, but the system that would later adopt this name on a large scale. Institutionalized
Christianity does not have the same essence as the faith of the apostles.
And here is where the story begins to take a dark turn.
In Acts 20:29-30, Paul with tears warns, "For I know this, that after my departure shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise speaking perverse things.
The danger did not only come from outside, it came from within. The corrupt religious system was not merely a creation of emperors and popes. It was conceived within the very faith community like a silent infiltration. In 2 Corinthians 11:4, the warning becomes even sharper. There were already those preaching another Jesus, bringing another spirit and proclaiming another gospel. The corrupted gospel was already in operation. What if I told you that what we call Christianity today with its clerical hierarchy, its human traditions, its political ecumenism and its moralistic facade is not a pure continuation of apostolic faith, but a slow and progressive deformationation of it.
True Christianity, the one that was born from the blood of Christ and the fire of the spirit, was gradually replaced by a religious system that became more and more controlled, ritualistic, and distant from the scriptures. This transition was subtle but devastating.
Pure faith gave way to structure, the spirit to politics, apostolic doctrine to false doctrines. What began as a holy and separate movement from the world began to be embraced by it. And when the world embraces something that God has separated, it's because an infiltration is underway.
What we call church today is not always the church that Christ
On the other hand, the Judaizers emerged, Christians of Hebrew origin who insisted that Gentiles should submit to the law of Moses, including circumcision, the feasts, and the rituals of the Old Testament. This heresy undermined the sufficiency of the cross, creating a mixed salvation, grace plus works of the law. Paul combats this vehemently in Galatians 5:4. Christ is become of no effect unto you.
Whosoever of you are justified by the law, ye are fallen from grace. It was an attempt to turn the gospel into yet another religious ritualistic expression dependent on human performance. But the infiltration went deeper. The Apostle Peter warns in 2 Peter 2 1-3 that there shall be false teachers among you who privy shall bring in damnable heresies. The heresies were not loud. They were subtle, sneaky, camouflaged with pious language. Jude in his epistle speaks of men who crept in unawares, turning the grace of God into lasciviousness and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. Jude 14.
This prepared the ground for the rise of the Catholic priesthood with its religious casts and dominance over the consciences of the faithful.
Thessalonians 2. It was not just about doctrinal heresies. It was a structural shift of faith, a deviation from the simplicity in Christ to the institutional complexity of religion.
It is worth remembering that Paul in 1Timothy 4:1 prophesied that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. This began in the early years of the church and only grew over time as the apostles passed into eternity. Their warnings were being fulfilled with unsettling precision.
This group is mentioned in the video
Another group directly mentioned by Jesus are the Nikolitans. In Revelation 26 and 2:15, he says that he hates their works.
From Google ===and here is the Truth -----the video speaks truth Folks
In Revelation 2:6, Jesus praises the church of Ephesus because they hate the "deeds of the Nicolaitans," an early heretical group that He also hates.
The Nicolaitans were false teachers who promoted spiritual compromise. They encouraged Christians to participate in pagan practices, like eating food sacrificed to idols and engaging in sexual immorality.
I say ---the Church today is NOT Functioning like the Church Jesus came to build and Spiritually Function -----the Church today Functions on what humans want not what God wants ----
And that is MY VIEW -and My Belief -----
Don’t you dare reduce groaning to waiting. It’s active, missional, and the Kingdom's phonetics.
When the world hears our groaning, they hear hope’s accent, resurrection’s dialect.
unsafe, since you think Christianity’s a “big fat farce,” let me remind you, Christ came to found a people, a covenant body
