Kids performing in adult bars like that is inappropriate, drag or not.
Same would be for parents who dress up their toddlers to go to beauty contests. You always wonder, who’s fantasies those kids are living out.

How is the latter any worse than parents taking their kids to ballet recitals, choir sings, taekwondo championships, etc.? If kids want to compete in pageants, let them compete in pageants.

It's a good point. Even hockey parents are often guilty of living vicariously through their kids. One of the reasons some of them are such a problem for refs and leagues anymore.
