What Jesus said in Mendalla's post.
I am addressing that now -----as a Spiritual understanding of this Judging Scripture is Needed ----what you and Mendalla and all unbelievers can only Grasp in viewing this Scripture from your Worldly Lens is ------No One is to judge anyone ---and if you do you will be judge with the same measure -----

This Scripture is about Discernment for Believers ---Correcting other Believers ------it is not about Believers Judging Unbelievers ---

The Bible is very clear that Believers are not to Judge Unbelievers as they are living under their own god of this world ----and are living Rightly under Satan's rule ---

1Corinthians 5:12
AMP
For what business is it of mine to judge outsiders (non-believers)?
Do you not judge those who are within the church [to protect the church as the situation requires]?

From Bible Hub
What is the meaning of 1 Corinthians 5:12?
What business of mine is it to judge those outside the church?

“What business of mine is it to judge those outside the church?” (1 Corinthians 5:12)

• Paul draws a clear line between believers and unbelievers. The church is never commissioned to police the morality of the world; that task belongs to God alone (Romans 2:3-5; Romans 12:19).

Jesus's teaching "Do not judge" (found in Matthew 7:1 and Luke 6:37) is addressed to His disciples and believers-----

Judging Others ------Bible Hub

Unity in the Body of Christ:
Judgment can lead to division within the church.

Accountability and Encouragement:
Within the Christian community, accountability should be approached with a spirit of encouragement rather than judgment.
Galatians 6:1 advises, "Brothers, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness." This approach promotes healing and growth rather than alienation.

Discernment vs. Judgment:

While Christians are called to avoid judgment, they are also encouraged to exercise discernment. This involves making wise decisions and offering constructive feedback without condemning . Discernment should be guided by love, truth, and a desire for mutual edification.

@Mendalla -- I personally have never experienced an evil Halloween. But there are many things under the sun of which I have no experience, so I can only speak to the fun version. If someone were to dress as a religious character in a mocking way, I would consider that evil.

To me, that's just satire. Happens all the time, actually. And what's a "religious character"? Is dressing as a classic "red devil" dressing as a religious character?

Got a minute? I know I've got some nails around here somewhere....

And it might be satire. I just feel uncomfortable about it. If it were done in a mocking way. Do people dress as the devil to mock the devil? Not sure.
